Armand Carr, host of the Quiet Storm and Listen Up Bay Area on KBLX 102.9FM is affectionately known as “The Voice”. He is a humorous and engaging speaker who will inject high energy into your event. As a keynote, he shares that same energy, passion and humor to create an unforgettable experience. Armand is one of the most sought after radio personalities in the Bay Area for conferences and panels ranging from politics to entertainment. Hired to emcee, keynote, moderate or be a motivational speaker, companies and organizations such as The Oakland A's, The NBA, The NFL, Holy Names University, Kaiser Permanente, Facebook, DowDupont and a host of others have all been benefactors of his amazing work. An advocate for the community, Armand is also the founder of All Tied Up, a nonprofit that prepares young men between the ages of 13-21 for success through workshops structured around the significance of a tie. Since its inception in 2016, Armand has visited more than 100 schools and programs throughout the Bay Area, and donated more than 3,000 ties. Due to his community outreach efforts, Armand was a 2017 Jefferson Award recipient, named 2017 Black Enterprise 100 Men of Distinction, received the 2017 Certificate of Special Recognition by Congresswoman Barbara Lee for his work in combatting human trafficking, the 2018 Chabot College “Striving Black Brothers Coalition Man of The Year”, and the 2019 Steph Curry/Under Armour Community All-Star Award. Armand is a naturally gifted personality that exudes genuine sincerity with a great sense of humor, who also exemplifies the heart, spirit and character of a humanitarian.
