Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Miss NINJA earned her name when it was discovered that she is a Second Degree Black Belt and World Champion in the martial art of Ju-Jitsu. Both her time training on the mat and behind the turntables has given MissNINJA super sharp skills as a fighter as well as a DJ. Her training in both fields began early in childhood and she has grown into a recognized powerhouse in both realms. Known for her in depth knowledge of music spanning across a wide variety of genres, MissNINJA has the ability to read and move a crowd. Spinning everything from 80's to Top 40, 90's Hip Hop to Electro & Dubstep, Disco to Classic Rock, she is able to deliver a sound that is always unique, energetic & exciting.
MissNINJA's passion for DJing developed back in the early 1990s, and in 2008 her talent for engaging a crowd and creating an experience was recognized on a mainstream level. While DJing a private party for a corporate exec at Clear Channel Radio in Burbank California, MissNINJA was discovered and booked by an agent at the world famous 102.7 KIIS-FM. From that point on, MissNINJA has been in high demand at prestigious clubs and private events all over the world.
She has spun for celebrities such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Kobe Bryant, Ellen Degeneres, LL Cool J, En Vogue, Faith Evans, Debbie Gibson, Mario Andretti, Mike Inez & Hugh Hefner; and she has DJ’d shows with Lil Jon, Cypress Hill, Boyz II Men, The Game, Fatlip (Pharcyde), Dev, Social Distortion, Santana & many more. She is also very well known in the LA radio scene and has spun events for 102.7KIIS-FM, 97.1AMP RADIO, FOX SPORTS RADIO & 95.5KLOS, and was featured in an issue of Party Time Magazine.
