Lovejack is the artist project of Honolulu-based singer, songwriter, and cellist formerly of Streetlight Cadence—the Emmy-nominated (2019) folk-pop band known from the TV show Will Play For Food. Drawing inspiration from the Jack of Hearts, a symbol of romantic sincerity and youthful passion, Lovejack blends classical cello, looped percussion, and dreamy vocals into a unique style of Bridgerton Pop. After leaving Streetlight Cadence, Lovejack redefined his sound—infusing layered cello loops and drum beats with a mix of original songs and inventive covers of modern pop hits. His music combines the warmth of acoustic instrumentation with moody, cinematic textures—crafted for listeners who seek both heart and harmony. At the end of 2025, Lovejack released his second solo album Queen of Hearts, which contains eleven tracks of heartfelt and moody love songs. Queen of Hearts touches on several different genres and feels, all while remaining true to Lovejack's sound and style when performing live and solo. With regular performances across California, Nevada and Hawaii, Lovejack continues to evolve his artistry. Whether on stage or in the studio, he creates lovely music for lovely people—with passion, precision, and a whole lot of heart.

Can live musicians play alongside a DJ?
Yes, and it is the most common way they are booked. A saxophonist or violinist over a DJ set during cocktails, a band for the first hours and a DJ after - planned as one production so the evening does not restart every time the music changes hands.

How much space and power does an act need?
It depends on the act, and we tell you before you sign rather than on the day. Send the venue and we confirm the footprint and the power the act needs with your coordinator directly.
Can they keep the lyrics clean?
Yes. Every act on our roster will play a clean set on request, and so will every DJ. Say so in the inquiry and we confirm it with the performer before the quote goes out.
Can we add lighting to a live music booking?
Yes. Lighting is designed around the act and the room as one production, not added as a separate show.
