Anna Nordmoe is a violinist and aerialist who does something almost nobody else does: she plays the violin while suspended on aerial silks. It is a ceremony or a cocktail hour that guests photograph, and it works as easily as an elegant string set when that is what the room wants.
She is currently the violinist on the first national tour of The Outsiders, and has subbed on Broadway in Hadestown, Lempicka and Cabaret. She has performed with Ed Sheeran, The Who, the Eagles, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Jon Batiste and Lauren Daigle, and played Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Jazz at Lincoln Center, SFJazz and the Hollywood Bowl. Her aerial work includes Teatro ZinZanni's Coming Home.
Classically trained — a Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan — she plays across jazz and improvisation, fiddle and klezmer, and has performed film and video game scores in concert, among them Coco, La La Land and Final Fantasy.

Can live musicians play alongside a DJ?
Yes, and it is the most common way they are booked. A saxophonist or violinist over a DJ set during cocktails, a band for the first hours and a DJ after - planned as one production so the evening does not restart every time the music changes hands.

Live music is quoted per act and per event, because a solo violinist and a five-piece band are not the same booking. Tell us your date, your venue and roughly how long you want them playing, and a quote follows - usually the same day.
How much space and power does an act need?
It depends on the act, and we tell you before you sign rather than on the day. Send the venue and we confirm the footprint and the power the act needs with your coordinator directly.
Can they keep the lyrics clean?
Yes. Every act on our roster will play a clean set on request, and so will every DJ. Say so in the inquiry and we confirm it with the performer before the quote goes out.
Can we add lighting to a live music booking?
Yes. Lighting is designed around the act and the room as one production, not added as a separate show.
