Like a breath of fresh air, Airsun puts a little bounce in your step with her musical mix. As an expert in mashups, Airsun thrives in an open format, spanning genres and eras with a natural affinity for a hip-hop heavy sound that also draws from trap, breaks, and house, if it feels right. Airsun first came on the San Francisco nightclub scene in 2011, and soon after started DJing with Bootie Mashup, one of the longest running and most-beloved parties in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and beyond, which helped establish the mashup genre globally. You can also check her out regularly at Monroe Lounge’s Battle of the Decades, one of the most popular Friday happy hour parties in San Francisco. When she’s not DJing, you can catch Airsun snowboarding in Tahoe, bicycling around the Bay, or serving on the board of directors of the International Live Event Association, Northern California Chapter (ILEA-NCC).
